As I look around I always find,
People in worse situation than I am;
I am convinced God is kind,
We should be thankful for his programme.
Hope of better times keeps us alive,
As each one of us in our situation strive.
Thank you, God, for the good times you give,
That make us enjoy your endless gifts;
Thank you when in times of trial we live,
That make us strong to climb the cliffs.
We accept the situation in which we are,
Since we know, you as our strength are never far.
I never lament I have no shoes,
For I know those who have no feet.
I, therefore, accept whatever for me you choose,
It will always be taken as your blessing sweet.
Just hold my hand in all times to come,
To useless despair let me never succumb.

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. On retirement, in Feb 2010, the first thing that occurred to me, and those around me, was that I Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (you will find an article with this title in this blog) and hadn't lost all my noodles and hence thought of a blog titled 'This 'n That'. I later realised that every third blog is called 'This 'n That' and changed the name to 'Sunbyanyname'. I detest treading the beaten track. This blog offers me to air 'another way' of looking at things. The idea is not just to entertain but also to bring about a change. Should you feel differently, you are free to leave your comments. You can leave comments even when you agree and want to share your own experience about the topic of the blog post. Impudent or otherwise, I have never been insousciant and I am always concerned about the betterment of community, nation and the world. I hope the visitors of this blog would be able to discern it.

There are only two ways to exist in the world,
The first is that
I am a part of the Supreme Lord (Atmn Swarup of The Paramatma) and cannot have Desire of my own
because He, as the Holy Father, knows the best and does the best for me
( महात्मा मंगत राम ने *कल्याणमूरत* रूप में परमात्मा का बखान किया)
It brings *Peace*, most importantly and the #Attitude of #Gratitude for everyone and everything that the Supreme Lord Blesses a person with, even the challenges which one believes are to make him strong for the future journey of life.

The other is
I am educated, talented and capable to direct my life my way
It may give self fulfillment and sense of achievement
But in fact, it also brings along disconnect, misery, autocracy arrogance and struggle but in a negative connotation.
Material success perhaps yes
but true love – difficult.

गुरु करे सो होय।।

( Satguru is the visible form of the Supreme Lord, who guides our life with his own conduct and through scriptures which are God’s voice through his Chosen One)
