Adversity teaches much more…..
My best teacher in life has been adversity,
It has taught me more than anyone could,
Every one of its lessons I understood;
It also taught me the virtues of scarcity.
When things for us are hunky-dory and nice,
Life is comfy and no lessons come our way.
We are so busy with activities of day to day,
That we don’t notice euphoria comes with a price.
Adversity teaches and also makes us learn fast,
It can be seen as a form of on the job training.
The first thing it teaches is how to live without complaining,
And then to look at happiness without contrast.
It is in adversity that a man’s true character comes out,
Something that was lying under a mask.
Whilst in success a man in his own glory may bask,
Adversity for the same man may prove a knockout.
….than easy life ever did.

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. Adversity causes most people to break
and
*Few to break the records*.

Most innovations happen at the time of War
.
In general men are like tea bags they perform only when in hot waters
.
Adversity is an eye opener as to who is actually standing by,
beyond lips
.
And most importantly,
it is God’s way to activate our energies to achieve Our potential as individual
(or a rather small group – War time).
.
Considered as attached by the supreme lord and working out positively with absolute faith, there is nothing like adversity.
.
As Socrates suggested to a young man who did not want to marry and agreed to do so if Socrates (whose wife was known all over Athens to be a battle axe Google are you in cold boiling water on his head and his half face was burnt) so suggested,
imagining that Socrates will never suggest any one to get married
.
but this response was

you must marry if you get a good wife you will have great time and if you don’t you will become Socrates in fact you have no way to lose.

That’s how adversity has to be viewed !!
