Why did God make bad things too?
If God indeed made all things nice,
Why are bad things still around?
Why does goodness come with a price,
Why are evil men to be found?
Why are there floods and fire,
Suddenly at the end of great weather?
Why do we see that when peace we desire,
War clouds out of nowhere gather?
Let me give just one example,
When we understand why God made such diversity,
If the true character of a man you’d sample,
Then you must see him in adversity.
If it hadn’t been for bad days,
Many wouldn’t fully value good ones;
Who would appreciate sun’s rays,
If without fail everyday it comes?
Finally, nothing in the world is good or bad,
It is just a matter of how it is viewed;
The same thing happy is seen as sad,
By those who happen to be in a bad mood.
We need these as much as we need good ones.

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. This blog offers me to air 'another way' of looking at things. The idea is not just to entertain but also to bring about a change. Should you feel differently, you are free to leave your comments. You can leave comments even when you agree and want to share your own experience about the topic of the blog post. Impudent or otherwise, I have never been insousciant and I am always concerned about the betterment of community, nation and the world. I hope the visitors of this blog would be able to discern it.

Indeed deprivation brings immense value
.
God has given us three most valuable things absolutely free – the sunlight, Water and oxygen (in the air)…
BUT
We fail to value this and go for air conditioned home, car, office, Mall, theatre for physical comfort
or show off
Drink aerated soft drink with high sugar content for hype
.
End result is Medical exigency
and medical advice against adopted lifestyle.
.
But most importantly God has given us capability to live happily, spread Cheer and be peaceful
But we argue to fulfill our ego to prove others wrong
.
In the nature, everything is complementing each other and it is in perfect harmony for 100s and thousands of years.
just imagine Aadhar exiled year with carbon dioxide is input for photosynthesis and production of food and oxygen for us our excreta is the manure for the vegetation.
The nature has a lot to teach us.

Only human beings are not at peace because despite awareness and knowledge we have not learnt to live in peace and harmony,
And false ego the prime reason for our being away from the Supreme Lord,
Compels us.
How ironical,
But a fact of life nevertheless
And that is why we stay distracted from achieving the main purpose of human form.
