The idea of God!
Good Morning Friends,
They saw Him as a King of the World,
Because those were the days of queens and kings;
Upon temples and mosques His flag was unfurled,
Since He was considered Owner of all things.
Because of society’s fixation on male superiority,
His gender was decided by the majority.
Creator of Universe, Omnipotent and Omnipresent,
Were qualities that they easily assigned to Him,
Each one of the preachers had his own lament,
Depending upon his own fancy and whim.
Were they wrong, did they commit crime?
No, they were right in their own time.
There must be a Force that created the Universe,
Someone must be seen as the Guiding Light,
Without the idea of God things would have been much worse,
For our actions and thoughts, there won’t have been oversight.
Chaos would have continued everywhere,
Without God keeping a watch up there somewhere.
Instead of rejecting the idea of God,
We need to keep giving ‘it’ a modern look,
Instead of, by our Religion, being overawed,
Let’s try to go beyond our religious book.
Since, while the idea of God helped us,
Religion has started harming with undue fuss.
Is the best idea God gave to Man!
Every small and big thing we see around ourselves has some #Creator producer or manufacturer.
Essentially when we see this Universe, the Galaxy to which planet earth belongs and to imagine there are many such galaxies that exist,
there has to be a Creator, A Manager and a Destroyer…
(From ancient times the Saints knew of the Trinityand even)
the force behind Trinity the Supreme Lord or Brahm ( not Brahma).

Every living Bing is alive only till the life force of the Supreme Brahm supports and the moments the life force exits the living being, he is considered as dead.

Many Saints and Seers have realised HIM in different ways and different forms,
even his different attributes
All of these provide Solace and Peace to the mind.
Anant Naam Tis Purukh ke,
Sab Hai Jaan Parman!
‘Mangat’ Jo Chit mein ramei’n,
Sohi Deve Kalyan !!

But in reality HE is not different – HE is like the chord that binds various flowers of different colours sizes and designs in a garland,
As Saint Kabir Saheb has aptly described,
नदिया एक और घाट बहुतेरे कहत कबीर वचन के फेरे!!

Another important aspect to understand is the entire creation is to give a learning and a message to the mankind (which is the supreme creation of the Supreme Lord)
The stream is powerful enough to make its way by breaking the mountain but it doesn’t do that
it takes the easiest route through the valley
Because it has an important objective to meet that is #merging with the Origin – The Sea
.
The message to the mankind is not to waste time and energy in arguments or fighting just Bow down and move on to merge with the Supreme,
and get freedom from the cycle of life and death.
मन तू ज्योति स्वरूप है अपना मूल पहचान!!

Similarly the trees don’t eat their own fruits. In fact after bearing the fruits they bend down so that the passers by can get shade and fruit easily. In effect, guiding us not to have ego or become arrogant.
In case the God has blessed someone with material well being
that is a means to serve a larger portion of the mankind.

निष्काम सेवा सत सेवा होई,
कल्याण स्वरूप जो धर्म परोई।
सेवा कर नहीं पाए अभिमाना,
सांचा मार्ग धर्म पहचाना।।
ज्यों ज्यों सेवा में प्रीत बढ़ाई, *आपा मत दुख* मूल उड़ जाई।।
*अपने आप का करो कल्याण*
*सत करतार का सुन फरमान*।।

सब जग रूप ब्रह्म का
भेद भरम नहीं कोए
‘मंगत’ सत तत्त खोजिए
फिर जन्म नहीं होए।।
