Look at any of his movies songs; these would be either hits or super hits. He had that kind of magic. Some of the most popular and memorable songs in Hindi movies have been composed by him. These would include songs on Western tunes as well as raaga based, romantic songs and duets, sad songs and even ghazals. He had that touch and we all are grateful that we lived in an era whence OP Nayyar composed. After Asha Parekh was rejected a role, Nasir Hussain took it upon himself to cast her in his movies and laughed all the way to the bank because of his choice. His first movie with her itself was a super hit movie Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai. He followed the success of it with this movie of 1963 that was produced and directed by him. It starred Joy Mukherjee opposite Asha Parekh together with Pran and Rajendra Nath.
