GOOD MORNING MESSAGE #112

Colours of Life. Love them all.

From the first of June, 2018, I started writing Good Morning messages in the form of poems (Please read: ‘Good Morning Message #1‘).

The last such message was: Good Morning Message #111‘.

Good morning Friends,

The Indian word ‘Raaga‘ means Colour or Hue,
Each one describes some Mood or Emotion.
It depends upon us to appropriately construe,
Eg, Red for Passion, Yellow for Love or Devotion.

Colours are representative of God’s Will,
He didn’t make a single one to dislike;
Each Raaga or Hue gives us a unique thrill,
No one needs to interpret a Colour alike.

It is the same with emotions and moods,
God didn’t want us to have one-size-fits-all;
Each one depends upon people’s attitudes,
The times and situations as one may recall.

No Colour or Mood is by itself good or bad,
Unless I or Myness becomes of it a part;
Some is perceived by us as happy or sad;
Whilst some we ourselves take to heart.

Extend this to everything else in our lives,
And know the Truth about God’s Creation;
In a situation where one barely survives,
Another is filled with unbound jubilation.

Permit yourself the colours of Love and Joy,
Not just today but everyday of the week;
God’s kindness is there for all of us to enjoy,
We need to have the right look or technique.

Different Colours. Different Moods. One God.

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. On retirement, in Feb 2010, the first thing that occurred to me, and those around me, was that I Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (you will find an article with this title in this blog) and hadn't lost all my noodles and hence thought of a blog titled 'This 'n That'. I later realised that every third blog is called 'This 'n That' and changed the name to 'Sunbyanyname'. I detest treading the beaten track. This blog offers me to air 'another way' of looking at things. The idea is not just to entertain but also to bring about a change. Should you feel differently, you are free to leave your comments. You can leave comments even when you agree and want to share your own experience about the topic of the blog post. Impudent or otherwise, I have never been insousciant and I am always concerned about the betterment of community, nation and the world. I hope the visitors of this blog would be able to discern it.
